Thai-Hungarian Business Matching Event at the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry

On 17 September 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Budapest, in collaboration with the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, Hungarian-Thai Chamber of Commerce, Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Embassy of Hungary in Bangkok, organized a successful business matching event at the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event saw participation from over 40 members of the Thai and Hungarian private sectors.

During the event, attendees had the opportunity to hear insightful presentations on investment opportunities in Thailand from Mr. Paiboon Nalinthrangkurn, Chairman of the Investment Analysts Association (Thailand), and on the Thai fintech environment from Mr. Chonladet Khemarattana, President of the Thai Fintech Association. Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Hungarian-Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, marking a significant step in fostering bilateral trade and investment.

This collaboration underscores the strong synergy between our nations, paving the way for enhanced economic cooperation and mutual growth.
